10 Fast Start Tips on how to Make Money with a Website Using Adsense

There are many ways to earn money from your website and probably the best way to start earning money fast is through AdSense, a Google owned service. It is critical that you understand how Adsense works in order for you to maximize your cash flow from your website. Here are 10 fast start tips on how to make money with a website using Adsense.

1. Sign up to Blogger at www.Google.com and under the tab "More" click on Blogger. Creating a  blog is probably the fastest way to start earning from AdSense because with Blogger they Google provides easy to use templates and you can actually be writing your first blog within 5 minutes of starting the setup.
2. Choose a subject that interests you so you can create interesting and creative blog posts that you know will appeal to your readers. The blog subject must be something you are passionate about because updating your blog on a regular basis is the only way you will generate the traffic you need to start generating a consistent cash flow.
3. After you have posted a couple of blogs, it is now time to sign up for Adsense. Go to www.AdSense.com and fill out the form. Once you fill out the form there will be a waiting time for you to get approved.
4. The next step is to choose the Keywords that are relevant to your subject matter. Choosing the right keywords is critical when you are attempting to earn money blogging because Google uses these Keywords in their decision on what ads to place on your pages. The closer in relevance your content is to the ads Google is placing on your pages, the more likely your readers will click the ads.
5. Once you are approved by Adsense, you can start picking the types of ads you want on your pages and the best location. You do this by clicking "Layout" in the menu on the left of the screen and select one of the tabs in your template that reads "Add a Gadget". A pop up screen will display a number of Gadgets. Again through my experience and research, text ads work much better than image ads. You want the ads to blend in and look like content to the reader. The more the ads blend in with your content, the more likely your readers are to click your ads.
7. The next option you have is the colors of your text, titles, backgrounds, borders, and links. This is the probably the most important step in how to make money with a website using AdSense. If the colors are chosen correctly, the Adsense ads will blend in perfectly with the content of your site. The secret to accomplishing this blending effect is to make the borders the same color as the background of your site, make the text the same color as your text in your posts, make the title the same color as the titles in your post, make the background of your ad the same color as the background of your site, and people are used to links being blue so choose blue for your links. Take a look at your site and the ads should blend in well with your content pages. If not not, simply adjust your color selection until you get the proper blending.
8. Once you have done steps 5, 6, and 7 and all your ads are placed on your pages, the next step is to play around with the placements and types of ads on your page to see what works best.
